Event - Dave's Rainforest Roadshow

Dave's Rainforest Roadshow visited Year 5 to enhance our learningof our topic 'Awe and wonder - layers of life'.

We had the opportunity to marvel at giant insects, to hold a Tarantula and a corn snake. We made beautiful bead necklaces and had our faces painted, in the style of Amerindiantribes, while learning about the lives of the indigenous peoples of the rainforest.

We really enjoyed spending time with Dave and his artefacts.
